Canada Media Fund (CMF) – Convergent Stream

The Canada Media Fund (CMF) is a repayable/recoupable financing for development, production, and marketing of Interactive Digital Media products. The convergent stream encourages development of innovative, convergent television and digital media content; the experimental stream encourages development of innovative, interactive digital media content and applications.

Coverage: Varies

Eligible Costs: Development of rich interactive content

Criteria: Canadian-Controlled Private Corporation; office based in Canada; project produced in Canada

Purpose: Encourages development of innovative, interactive digital media content and applications

Type: Loan

Reach: Federal

Amount: Up to $500,000

Coverage: 75% of eligible costs

Eligible Costs: Development, production and marketing/promotional costs

Criteria: Canadian-Controlled Private Corporation; office based in Canada; project produced in Canada
