Canada Job Grant
The Canada Job Grant (CJG) provides funding for short-term training and operates on a provincial basis.
- Amount: Two-thirds of eligible costs up to $10,000 per employee;
- Eligible Costs: Third-party training costs, such as tuition, textbooks, necessary/required software, mandatory student fees, and examination fees;
- Criteria: Third-party training is provided for employees at private corporations, non-profit groups, First Nations councils, or training organizations;
- Additional Info: This program is scheduled to run until 2020.
