NorthBridge engaged a manufacturer located in the Region of Waterloo that was looking to exhibit at two international trade shows.  The company was looking to increase their export sales in the United States and to identify sales leads in two new target markets. The company had applied for the SR&ED program but was unaware of government funds that were applicable to their additional business objectives. Our team was able to provide information about the export funding program, Export Market Access (EMA), which offers assistance of up to 50% for eligible trade show expenditures.

Our NorthBridge team worked with the company to complete the application, project plan, and marketing plan for their trade shows. NorthBridge also assisted with the reporting process, after the trade show was attended.  As a result of our efforts, they were fully approved for the funding amount that they had requested. The funding that was awarded will allow the company to increase their export sales, and the EMA program will allow them to increase their budget for future trade shows.
