The SR&ED program provides over $3 billion a year to Canadian companies.
The program was created to encourage technical development and innovation in Canada.
Most provinces offer additional SR&ED tax credit programs for research and development, on top of federal ITC.
SR&ED claims can be submitted up to 18 months after your fiscal year end
